{"id":1658,"date":"2019-07-16T15:20:58","date_gmt":"2019-07-16T15:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.keitharundale.com\/?p=1658"},"modified":"2019-07-16T15:23:33","modified_gmt":"2019-07-16T15:23:33","slug":"fintech-and-venture-capital-forum-cisi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keitharundale.com\/index.php\/fintech-and-venture-capital-forum-cisi\/","title":{"rendered":"FinTech and Venture Capital Forum (CISI)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week I was invited to participate in a forum on FinTech and VC by the Chartered Institute for Securities &amp; Investment (CISI).\u00a0It was a good discussion and, from the feedback, was well received.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to myself, the other panel members (all VCs) were:<br \/>\nDan Chaplin, Associate, Dawn Capital (B2B FinTech and enterprise software)<br \/>\nJack Clarke, Market Adviser Financial Services and Fintech, Enterprise Ireland<br \/>\nBarnaby Terry, Managing Partner, Sussex Place Ventures<br \/>\nMark Whitcroft, Founding Partner, Illuminate Financial Management (focused exclusively on FinTech).<\/p>\n<p>The panel was chaired by Michael Imeson, Senior Content Editor FT Live and Contributing Editor, The Banker.<\/p>\n<p>I took the opportunity to mention the new MSc degree in Finance and Finance Technology (FinTech) that is now being provided by the ICMA Centre at Henley Business School where I teach. My module on Private Equity &amp; Venture Capital is an elective on this new FinTech MSc.
